Abstract

|
Guillain-Barre syndrome is acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy characterized by motor disturbances affecting all the muscles of the upper and lower limbs and predominating in their -distal segments, loss of tendon reflexes
with
preservation of cutaneous reflexes.
The simultaneous occurrence of Guillin-Barre syndrome in pregnancy is rare, but probably coincidental. This disease may begin at any time during pregnancy and dose not affect the delivery and the fetus.
We have experienced a case of Cuillain-Barre syndrome in pregnancy and presented it with a review of literature.
